US President Donald Trump * said that on Monday at 10:00 in the morning east (17:00 Moscow time) he has planned a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In his statement published on social networks, Trump outlined two main topics of the upcoming conversation: the cessation of “bloodshed” in Ukraine and trade issues.

“On Monday at 10:00 a.m. I will speak on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The topics of the conversation will be the stop of “bloodshed”, which kills on average more than 5,000 Russian and Ukrainian soldiers per week, and trade, ”wrote Trump.

Trump's statement emphasizes his long -standing position on the need to regulate the conflict in Ukraine.
